Vinton Co. grand jury hands down 16 indictments

VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — Vinton County Prosecutor, Jim Payne says 16 indictments were handed down by the grand jury, encompassing 69 counts.

• August Christopher Schuetz, 34, and Shania Nicole Jones, 26, both of Wellston, OH, each of whom was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Murder, an unclassified felony (with a Firearm Specification – 3 year); two counts of Murder, an unclassified felony; two counts of Voluntary Manslaughter, a felony of the first degree (with a Specification for Forfeiture of a Weapon and a Firearm Specification – 3 year); Aggravated Burglary, a felony of the first degree (with a Firearm Specification – 1 year, and a Specification for Forfeiture of a Weapon); two counts of Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree (with a Firearm Specification – 3 year, and a Specification for Forfeiture of a Weapon); Tampering With Evidence, a felony of the third degree; and  Gross Abuse of a Corpse, a felony of the fifth degree (with a Firearm Specification – 3 year, and a Specification for Forfeiture of a Weapo
• Trae R. Bigham, 20, of Jackson, OH, eight counts of Disseminating Matter Harmful To Juveniles, a felony of the fifth degree;  Possessing Criminal Tools, a felony of the fifth degree (with a Specification for Forfeiture of Property)
• Rocky David Montgomery, 28, of McArthur, OH, five counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter Involving a Minor or Impaired Person, a felony of the second degree
