ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A wanted fugitive in Ross County was apprehended on Thursday during a raid on a house trailer.
It happened at 55 Blain Highway and involved federal agents, who were looking for Jeremiah Bellomy. Bellomy, 30, was wanted for a parole violation that originally stemmed from a police chase and other charges in 2019.
When agents and deputies raided the home this week they found their target, along with drugs and a gun.
“…. multiple baggies with white and off-white powdery substance totalling 9 grams, a tin with burnt and fresh foil squares, multiple clear and blue plastic baggies, a black and multi-color striped bag containing a 9mm magazine loaded with thirteen rounds, twenty-four loose 9mm rounds, and a plastic buckle,” deputies reported.
Bellomy was arrested and the drugs and guns seized, along with an SUV.
