CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Deputies are investigating a report of a stolen trailer.
It allegedly happened on Friday at Kenworth outside of Chillicothe. A driver with a contracting company named Aki Logistics Group, LLC, called deputies from the nearby Pilot truck stop to report the theft. The driver told them the trailer was stolen sometime today while he was at the trucking manufacturing facility.
The Guardian spoke with a trucking company representative on Friday who confirmed the trailer theft, but said they were unsure what was loaded inside since it was a “dispatch” or contract-for-hire job.
Deputies took a report and sent the driver back to Illinois where he is from.
