CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bomb threat at Kenworth in Chillicothe.
According to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, shortly before 7 a.m., his office received a call stating that there was a bomb threat at the facility on route 159.
Several law enforcement agencies descended on the factory to begin an investigation and search of the building.
This incident comes just days after officials with the Chillicothe Municipal Court received a bomb threat on Monday.
Authorities have not stated if all the incidents lately have been connected.
UPDATE: The Ross County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 32-year-old Joseph Brown and has charged him with making terroristic threats and inducing panic. Brown, officials said, is currently being housed at the Ross County Jail pending arraignment.
