ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County corrections officer was found not guilty on charges of child rape and gross sexual imposition.
Brian C. Adeva was indicted by a Ross County grand jury in March on 4 counts of GSI and 5 counts of rape involving a child under the age of 13.
This week, a jury, according to the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office, found Adeva not guilty on all counts.
In March, a spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections said Adeva was placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of his case.
