Firefighters in Chillicothe responded to a structure fire shortly before 10 a.m.
According to initial reports, smoke was coming from the two-story home along Western Avenue.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Western Avenue is currently closed from West Second Street to West Main Street.
The Red Cross has been requested to assist the displaced family.
