CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department was involved in a high-speed pursuit this morning after a Jeep SUV was seen leaving a known drug house at a high rate of speed. The call came in shortly before 10 a.m.
When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver refused to pull over and the pursuit continued along South Bridge Street.
The chase was eventually terminated, but the vehicle continued south toward Route 23. The driver is described as an African-American male in a white Jeep SUV, though the exact model and license plate number are currently unknown.
The incident is under investigation.
