CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A deputy is alright after their cruiser crashed into a house in Chillicothe.
It happened around noon on Friday as the deputy was traveling near downtown at Western Avenue and Water Street when he swerved to miss an oncoming car, according to eyewitnesses.
“A lady decided it was a good idea to go around a stopped car in the turn lane and turn instead of waiting her turn and made a sheriff swerve to miss and ended up sliding into our apartment, destroying our bathroom,” the homeowner said. 
No one was injured but the house sustained heavy damage, as well as the deputy’s cruiser.
There’s no word on if anyone was cited for the accident.
