COLUMBUS, Ohio — In a shocking turn of events, Jacob D. Davidson, DOB 4-26-84, has escaped from Twin Valley Behavioral Health Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Davidson was being held at the hospital after being indicted for Felonious Assault, a Felony of the 1st Degree, Discharging a Firearm on/or near a Prohibited Premises, a Felony of the 3rd Degree, Disrupting Public Services, and Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, both Felonies of the 4th Degree.
Davidson was arrested by the Bucyrus Police Department in November 2022 after being identified as the shooter in incidents that took place in Crawford County and Morrow County. He was subsequently ordered to be held on a two-million-dollar bond.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident and a warrant for Davidson’s arrest is expected to be issued out of Franklin County, Ohio for Escape. Davidson is considered Armed and Dangerous, and authorities are urging the public to be vigilant and report any information about his whereabouts to local law enforcement or by calling 911.
Davidson is described as a white male, 38 years old, standing at 5’11” and weighing 160 lbs. with blue eyes. He was last seen with brown, unkempt hair and a full beard. If you see Davidson or have any information about his whereabouts, do not approach him and contact authorities immediately.
