WILMINGTON, Ohio — Rain and a few thunderstorms are forecasted across the Scioto Valley this week leading to concerns about flooding. 

According to the National Weather Service, portions of the region could see over an inch of rain from Wednesday through Friday.

Thunderstorms will cause heavy rain to move into the area Wednesday evening into the overnight hours. 

Residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas should monitor conditions and be prepared to act should flooding occur.
