Charles Vincent Corbit of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Greenfield, passed away January 21, 2023, at the age of 48.
Charlie was born January 22, 1974, in South Bend, Washington.
He had attended McCain High School and Laurel Oaks Vocational School studying aircraft mechanics. He was a baptized and faithful Jehovah’s Witness. As a young man, Charlie served in the Ohio National Guard. Throughout his life he loved to travel and experience new places. Charlie enjoyed fishing, bee keeping, bird watching, and model cars and airplanes, but was known to be passionate about any hobby he ventured into.
He was preceded in death by a special uncle, Chuck Corbit and a stepbrother, Ricky Trent.
Survivors include his wife, Misti (Maxwell) Corbit; mother, Joanne (Marty) Jones; father, Melvin (Violet) Corbit; children, Felisha Daniels and Frankie Corbit; grandchildren, Kristopher Riley, Owen Riley, Ryan Jolly, and August Lemere; sisters, Melanie (Chris) Jones and Jeanie (Scott) McVay; brother, James Jones; stepbrother, Eric Trent; and a stepsister, Melodie Trent; He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his many friends including special friend Tim Jones and his two canine companions.
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life is being planned by his family with details to be announced at a later date.
