CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Guardian announced on Friday that the publication has launched a new feature on their website: online forums.
The forums are designed to stimulate conversation among the public dialogue. Topics can be about anything, and do not require moderation. The postings may be done completely anonymous and no information is stored about the end-user, not even I.P. addresses.
The Guardian believes the community will benefit from a place other than Facebook and social media platforms to express themselves freely and hear from their fellow neighbors with a goal to create change for the better.
“Communication leads to community, that is, to understanding, intimacy and mutual valuing,” -Rollo May
