Norma Jean Savage, 95, of Bristol Village, Waverly, passed 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
She was born June 30, 1927 in Westerville to the late Sherman and Idabel Brown Kreischer. On August 29, 1948 she married Lloyd C. Savage who preceded her in death on May 10, 2014.
Surviving are daughter, Diane (Elsley Keith) Witt, Jr.; grandchildren, Christine (Scott) Hoffman, Dr. Laura (Mark) Harvey and Elsley Keith (Amber) Witt, III; great grandchildren, Ian Hoffman, Bryn Hoffman, Ethan Harvey, Caitlyn Harvey, and Tristan Witt. She was predeceased by brother, Dwight Kreischer of Houston, TX.
Jean was a retired school teacher at Chillicothe City Schools. She attended the Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church. Jean was a member of the Ross County Quilters Guild, Ross County Retired Teachers Association, Ross County Historical Society and the Ross County Genealogical Society.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2023 in Welty Cemetery Stark County. Friends and family may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023.
