PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A Pike County man will spend the next 10-15 years behind bars for the attempted rape of a child.
64-year-old Tony Bowling took a plea deal that dismissed additional felony charges against him.
Bowling was arrested by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office in December of 2021, charged with one count of rape, and three counts of gross sexual imposition.
His arrest followed an investigation that began in September 2021.
Bowling remains in custody at the Scioto County Jail pending transfer to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections.
