ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A burglary Monday afternoon in Bainbridge resulted in the arrest of one of the reported escaped juveniles from a local youth detention center.
On Monday, the Guardian reported on the escape of two juveniles from the Lighthouse Youth Center on Tong Hollow Road in Bainbridge.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, deputies with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office were alerted to a break-in occurring at an apartment on Shawnee Street in the village.

Reports indicate that two juveniles were seen breaking into the apartment and then fleeing the scene on foot.
Deputies were told by dispatchers that one of the juveniles suspected in the break-in was captured. Moments later, authorities determined the apprehended teen was one of the two that had previously escaped.
A search, officials said, continues for the other juvenile. Officials did not state which of the two is still on the run.
