This review is a reminder to all on what we do in the space between—the dash (-) between a birthdate and the date of death is what we do with our lives and what time we have to build relationships with others. David (Dave) cared about people, was always ready to share stories, spent his life enjoying his interactions with local farmers and families and felt most at home on the farm and at cattle shows with fellow story tellers and cattlemen. He enjoyed books on the Wild West, Cowboy lore and bluegrass music.
Dave’s family will hold a remembrance and celebration ceremony at the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery at 10 AM on 15 May 2023. The Highland County Veteran’s Honor Guard will present military honors.
