CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police are investigating a reported burglary at a residence on Lillie Street in Chillicothe.
According to the homeowner, who was out of town for two days, the entire residence was ransacked, and belongings were strewn about.
The homeowner also noticed that a bathroom window on the east side of the house was broken and believes that the suspect may have entered through the window.
The police found the condition of the residence to match the homeowner’s description, with broken items and furniture flipped over.
The homeowner has not yet identified any missing items but was advised to create a list and contact the department when completed. Although the homeowner had a security camera inside the living room, it was reportedly destroyed during the burglary.

The investigation is pending, and police currently have no additional information or leads.
