CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating a reported “drive-by” shooting that occurred Tuesday evening on the city’s east side.
According to reports obtained from the police department, officers were dispatched to Warner Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m.
Officers spoke with the caller who said he saw a gray Nissan Altima with someone shooting out of the window towards a home in the 100 block.
The vehicle, the man said, turned right onto Warner Avenue from East Water Street and continued south.
Officers patrolled the area and were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. In the report, one of the responding officers said the incident may be related to a previous narcotics incident in the area.
No further details have been provided by law enforcement other than the reported shooting remains under investigation.
