PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — The Portsmouth Police Department announced the arrest of a bank robbery suspect.
According to Portsmouth P.D., David Eugene Davis was arrested shortly after officers were notified of a robbery at the People’s Bank drive-thru in the 900 block of Chillicothe Street.
Authorities say that Davis brandished a knife at the teller and demanded money.
David Davis of Richmond, Virginia was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Scioto County Jail.
All the money, officials said, was recovered.
