ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Multiple fire departments responded to a residential fire Saturday morning just outside of Chillicothe.
The call came into dispatchers around 10:30 a.m. along Old Route 35.
According to reports, flames and heavy smoke were seen coming from the second floor of a home in the 29000 block.
Multiple township departments responded to the scene to provide mutual assistance.
It is unknown if the home was occupied. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
