PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — Pickaway County Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey marked a momentous occasion on Wednesday as he promoted five Lieutenants to the rank of Captain at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff made the announcement as part of his efforts to grow the Sheriff’s Office and enhance its service to the community. “As Pickaway County grows, we too must grow so that we can continue to provide the best possible service to our county,” said Sheriff Hafey.

The promotion of the five Lieutenants comes as the Sheriff’s Office continues to evolve and expand its operations to meet the changing needs of the community. The Sheriff believes that the promotion of these individuals is an important step towards achieving this goal.

The Sheriff congratulated the newly promoted Captains and expressed his confidence in their ability to lead and serve the community. He also expressed his gratitude to all the members of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for their hard work and dedication to keeping the community safe.
