COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio residents are set to hear the sound of tornado sirens on Wednesday, March 22, as part of the state’s Severe Weather Awareness week. The sirens will be tested at 9:50 a.m. and residents should not be alarmed.
The state officials urge all residents to use this drill as an opportunity to practice their emergency plans and protocols.
This exercise is intended to prepare people for the possibility of tornadoes and other severe weather events and to help ensure that they know what to do in case of an emergency.
