CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Firefighters in Chillicothe were called to a fire on the city’s east side this afternoon.
According to dispatchers, the fire, the 9-1-1 caller said, was in the area of 190 North Sugar Street but they were unsure of the exact location.
Two companies from the city’s fire department responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remains unclear. It is unknown at the time of this publication if the home was occupied.
Residents are asked to avoid the area while crews continue to battle the flames.
