CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe man has been indicted on multiple counts related to child pornography.
Court records obtained by the Guardian show, Kyle Weaver was indicted by the Ross County Grand Jury and charged with four counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department, on September 12, 2022, detectives were notified by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force that images involving minors were sent through the social media app, KIK. The images were downloaded in July 2022.
Weaver remains in custody at the Ross County Jail, held without bond.
If convicted, Weaver would have to register as a sex offender and could spend nearly the next decade behind bars.
