CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The City of Chillicothe is coming together with several community partnerships to bring a new park to the Sixth Ward, the only ward in the city without a park. The property was donated by former Councilwoman Pat Patrick.
To help guide the design of the park, the city is asking for feedback from the community on what park components should be included. The input collected will be used to inform the park’s design and layout, which will be shared with the public for further feedback before the park’s construction.
As of March 30th, the community can now vote for their preferred playground options, which will be included in the park. The collaborative effort between the city and community partnerships is expected to result in a new park that residents of the Sixth Ward can enjoy for years to come.
