HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio — The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent appeal for information to locate a dangerous individual, Johnathan R. Allbery, who is wanted for a felony probation violation. Allbery, a violent sexual offender, recently pled guilty to a weapon violation but failed to report to jail on March 20, 2023, as per his sentence.
On Saturday, April 1, 2023, the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence incident at Allbery’s residence located at 29723 Phelps Road in Logan. An eyewitness reported that Allbery was seen “head butting” his girlfriend during the altercation.
The authorities have described Allbery as a 37-year-old male, standing at 5’7″ and weighing 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. The Sheriff’s Office has warned the public not to approach Allbery as he is considered to be dangerous.
