CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A man tasked with removing items from a property was attacked by a woman after she broke into his home, according to reports from the Chillicothe Police Department.
The victim reported to the police that he had been asked to remove abandoned property from a residence on North Poplar Street. He said that he was awakened by a white female in her mid-20s with dreadlocks and a male subject of the same age standing at his door.
After the two demanded the return of the removed items or payment, the victim said that they forced their way into the residence and assaulted him. The victim attempted to reach for his gun, but the suspects fled the scene in a small four-door maroon-colored vehicle.
Police are currently working on identifying and charging the suspects. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the police department.
