CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted is set to speak at the Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center Business Advisory Council meeting today. The meeting marks the first district-wide gathering of its kind, and will focus on the economic development wins in Ohio and the opportunities for business and education to collaborate in preparing Ohio’s future workforce.
Husted’s remarks are expected to cover the current state of Ohio’s economy and the role that businesses and educators can play in ensuring that the state continues to grow and thrive. He will also touch on the ways that businesses and education can work together to provide the training and skills that the state’s workforce needs to succeed in the 21st century.
The meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Pickaway Ross Career Technical Center on Crouse Chapel Road.
