CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man found overdosing in the restroom of a Chillicothe retailer caused a stir on Thursday. Officers from the Chillicothe Police Department were dispatched to Kohl’s department store on River Trace Lane after receiving reports of a man passed out inside a restroom stall.
According to the police report obtained by the Guardian, officers found the man, later identified as Dustin Chaney, unconscious with his pants down while sitting on the toilet. Officers were able to climb over the stall door and used their batons to unlock it from the inside.

Chaney regained consciousness, but authorities reported that he showed signs of opioid use. He was arrested and transported to the Ross County Jail on charges related to drug paraphernalia found in the stall with him.
