PEEBLES, Ohio – On Wednesday, April 26, the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force, together with multiple law enforcement agencies, executed two narcotics-related search warrants on Fairview Road in Peebles, Ohio. The agencies involved in the operation included Portsmouth Police SWAT, Chillicothe Police SWAT, Ironton Police K9 Unit, and Pike County Sheriff Deputies.
During the raid, authorities arrested Gene Dreher, David Irvin, and Jeremiah Dreher. A substantial amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and firearms were confiscated from both residences. While agents and deputies secured the scene, a vehicle believed to be driven by Clinton Keaton, who had an outstanding felony warrant for felonious assault and aggravated drug possession, approached the area.

Attempting to stop Keaton’s vehicle, deputies initiated a traffic stop, but Keaton fled on foot. Miranda Janes, a female passenger in the vehicle, was arrested without incident. Deputies and Task Force Agents pursued Keaton, who was later apprehended in the woods behind a sawmill by Ironton Police K9 Ike and his handler.
A subsequent search of the vehicle occupied by Keaton and Janes revealed methamphetamine, scales, and Xanax. The case remains under investigation and will be presented to a future session of the Pike County Grand Jury for consideration of additional charges. Seized narcotics during the incident included approximately 4 pounds of marijuana and over 100 grams of methamphetamine.
