CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe police are currently investigating a reported stabbing incident that took place over the weekend outside a local bar.
The Guardian obtained reports stating that police were called to Adena Urgent Care on Centennial Blvd. regarding an individual receiving treatment for injuries sustained during an assault.
The victim informed officers that they had been involved in an altercation at the Wobbly Ghost Tavern on East Main Street, during which they were allegedly stabbed. The victim, who admitted to being intoxicated at the time, could not recall many details of the incident and expressed no desire to pursue criminal charges.
Authorities report that the investigation has reached a standstill, as the victim is unwilling to cooperate further. No additional information is available at this time.
