VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Transportation released information today on some upcoming projects in Vinton County.
According to ODOT, one lane of Route 50 will be closed starting May 8 between Morgan Road and Pony Road for a culvert replacement project. Officials say only one lane will be closed. Temporary traffic signals will be utilized during the closure, which is expected to last through May 12.
Also, a bridge replacement project is ongoing along Route 93 between Old Route 75 and Ashmore Road. That project is expected to extend into the summer months. August 1 is the estimated completion date provided by ODOT.
Motorists are advised to use caution in these areas or seek alternative routes around the closure.
