CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe City Council will hold a regular meeting on Monday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 26 South Paint Street. The following legislation will be considered:
- Third Reading: An Ordinance amending Section 311.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Chillicothe, Ohio.
- Third Reading: An Ordinance accepting and appropriating $9,452.07 received from public entities Pool of Ohio for the replacement of street light fixtures that were damaged due to automobile accidents.
- Third Reading: Resolution granting use of the municipal parking lot on the corner of Fourth and Paint Streets to Paper City Mentoring Project for their Maker Fair on September 3rd, 2023.
- Second Reading: A Resolution confirming the appointments of Michael Maughmer, Andrea Holmes, Lisa Johnson, and Jamie Brown to the Non-Profit Funding Committee.
- First Reading: An Ordinance appropriating $43,000.00 to pay the City’s $23,000.00 share of the ODOT Paving Project on State Route 772 and $20,000.00 for project cost overruns.
- First Reading: An Ordinance appropriating $10,546.67 in insurance funds received as security as the result of a structure fire at 189 East Fourth Street.
- First Reading: A Resolution accepting and adopting the updated Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy for the Chillicothe Transit System.
