According to a report provided by the Chillicothe Police Department, 28-year-old Nathan West attempted to be seen at the Wissler & Meyers Dental Clinic on 8th Street in Chillicothe. The receptionist notified West that they did not have any openings and that the dentist did not take his type of insurance. West allegedly responded by threatening to “blow up the office with a bomb.”

West left the scene before officers arrived. The receptionist told officers, per the report, that she was fearful of the threats he had made.

Officers were able to locate West at his residence on East Fourth Street later that day. West told officers that he did not make any threats against the business. He said he only yelled an expletive and then left.

West was arrested by police and charged with inducing panic. No further updates have been provided by authorities.
