PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Pike County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on the case of 35-year-old Luke Bricker who was gunned down in Pike County.

On May 28, deputies were dispatched to Route 772 on reports of a person lying in the roadway. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim was deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s body was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
Sheriff Tracy Evans says that during the course of the investigation, 18 separate search warrants were served.
Currently, a person of interest is in custody on unrelated charges. The name of that individual has been withheld by the Sheriff. Officials believe only one person was involved in the homicide.
