ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A search and rescue operation is underway for a missing teenager in Ross County.
According to initial reports, 16-year-old Karrie Rodriguez was last seen today at approximately 6:30 a.m. She was wearing a black tank top and green camo shorts.
At around 8:30 a.m., a call was made to all local search and rescue teams to gather at the 1800 block of Moss Hollow Road. Multiple township fire departments, including the V.A. Fire Department, are actively involved in the search efforts.
The Ohio Highway Patrol has dispatched a plane to assist in the operation.
Anyone with information regarding Karrie Rodriguez’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
UPDATE: According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, the teen was located safe.
