PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A truck fire in Pickaway County turned into a tense situation as it quickly spread to a nearby garage earlier today. Emergency crews were dispatched to Swackhamer Road around 2:30 p.m.
First responders arrived on the scene to find the engine compartment of the truck engulfed in heavy flames, with the fire rapidly spreading to the adjacent garage.
Fortunately, the fire was brought under control, but the truck and garage suffered extensive damage.
The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
