CHILLICOTHE, OH – Mayor Feeney of Chillicothe enthusiastically unveiled the lineup of events set to commemorate the nation’s Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th at Yoctangee Park.

Pool Party: Taking place from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., the highly anticipated annual pool party will be held at the Donald M. Smith Memorial Pool in Yoctangee Park. Tickets, priced at $10 per person, can be purchased at the City of Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Department, located on the first floor of the City Administrative Building at 35 South Paint Street, Chillicothe, OH. Children aged 2 and under can enter for free. The ticket includes access to swimming, as well as food and refreshments. Fireworks: The City of Chillicothe’s dazzling fireworks display is scheduled to commence around 9:45 P.M. on Tuesday, July 4th. Spectators are advised to secure their positions and be prepared by 9:30 P.M. Due to limited parking availability and modified traffic flow in downtown, motorists should allocate extra travel time to reach their preferred viewing locations. Chillicothe’s Community Day: Marking its second annual celebration, the Chillicothe Police Department will host Community Day at Diamond 2 in Yoctangee Park from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
