CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Law enforcement in Chillicothe is currently searching for a suspected shooter.
Shortly after 2:15 p.m. law enforcement in the city was alerted to a reported shooting in the area of Sycamore Street on the city’s east side.
The suspect, described as a skinny African American man with dreads, was seen fleeing the area on a motorcycle.
An aviation unit with the Ohio Highway Patrol has been requested to help in the search.
Police are currently searching an area from Yoctangee Park to Strawser Park looking for the gunman.
