It happened at around 7:30 p.m. near the Clarksburg exit when two bicycles and their hauling rack fell off the back of a camper. The bicycles were laying in the middle of the highway and were hit by a vehicle that was traveling behind the campers.

Union Township Fire Department and troopers arrived at the scene and assisted those involved; there were no injuries.

Firefighters helped cut the bicycles out from under the vehicle so the SUV could get out of the highway. Thankfully, the SUV that hit the bicycles did not suffer disabling damage.

The hauler of the camper was cited for unsecured load. Sadly, his bikes were destroyed.
