ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A camper fire in the woods behind Shawnee Street in Bainbridge could be the act of arson, investigators say.
The fire was reported on Monday by a neighbor who heard loud noises coming from the woods. Upon arrival, firefighters found the camper deep into the woods completely burnt and no identification markings were found.
The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s office, who said the camper appeared to be part of a homeless camp. Anyone with information on the case should contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
