RICHMOND DALE, Ohio — A semi caught fire early Tuesday morning, which wreaked havoc along route 35.

It happened at around 3 a.m. between Richmond Dale and Musgrove Road in the westbound lanes.
The fire ignited under the hood near the engine, which almost early engulfed the cab.
Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread to the load. The highway was closed as crews worked the scene.
No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
