ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Chillicothe woman was arrested yesterday after allegedly stabbing her husband with a deer antler.
The incident occurred at a home on State Route 159. When deputies arrived, the victim told them that his wife had stabbed him with the antler. He showed deputies a small laceration on his hip line.
Deputies then spoke with the wife, who refused to tell them what had happened. She said she didn’t want to get in trouble or go to jail.
After refusing to cooperate with deputies, the wife was arrested for domestic violence and assault. She was taken to the Ross County Jail.
The victim was not seriously injured.
The names of those involved were not released by the Sheriff’s Office.
