CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe woman was arrested on Wednesday after she allegedly tried to run another driver off the road and then resisted arrest.
Heather Boyd, 39, is facing charges of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and two counts of felonious assault.
Police were called to the scene of a road rage incident on Bridge Street. When they arrived, they found Boyd yelling and banging on the window of a car. The car’s occupants told police that Boyd had been following them and had tried to run them off the road.
Boyd was told to step back from the car, but she refused and began to resist arrest. She was eventually subdued and taken into custody.
Boyd is being held in the Ross County Jail. She is scheduled to appear in court today.
