CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — An off-duty police officer crashed his motorcycle Friday evening.
It happened at around 7 p.m. on Western Avenue at Plyley’s Lane in Chillicothe when off-duty Chillicothe Police Officer Chris Claytor was driving his motorcycle.
He collided with an SUV, whose airbags were deployed as a result of the crash, causing the motorcycle to go down and slide.
Claytor refused medical treatment and the others involved were not seriously injured.
Western Avenue was restricted as crews cleaned up the scene.
