BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — Route 50 was closed in Ross County Friday night for a crash.
It happened with a full moon when a married couple was driving west out of Bainbridge when their Jeep Grand Cherokee slammed into a rogue cow at around 9:30 p.m.
The cow, weighing several hundred pounds was running loose in the roadway and totaled the SUV. While airbags were deployed, no one was seriously injured.
The highway was closed for an extended period of time as crews cleaned up the wreckage. The cow was killed upon impact.
