JACKSON, Ohio — A commercial motor vehicle crash on State Route 32 near the intersection of Kessinger School Road injured the driver of the truck.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:00 AM when Dorothy Crum, 66, of Odessa, Texas, was driving a 2007 Freightliner semi-truck and trailer eastbound on State Route 32. Ms. Crum failed to maintain her lane and drove off the right side of the roadway. While Ms. Crum was traveling outside of the eastbound lanes of SR 32 she struck a parked and unoccupied 2015 Nissan Versa. Ms. Crum’s truck continued eastbound after she struck the parked vehicle where she then struck and later became stuck on the top of the guardrail.
Ms. Crum sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was treated on the scene by medics. She was issued a citation for failing to maintain her marked lane of travel resulting in the crash. Traffic was reduced to one lane for approximately three hours during the investigation and recovery of the vehicles.
