FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — Investigators say a farm machinery store fire in Jeffersonville has been ruled arson.
The deliberate act of arson recently occurred at Mayer Farm Equipment. The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau, in collaboration with the Jefferson Township Fire Department, responded to the fire on December 16. Following an extensive investigation, the cause of the fire has been officially determined as arson.
Law enforcement officials are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying those responsible for the. The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee has stepped in, offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the fire.
