GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio — In a recent announcement, Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren disclosed that the Gallia County Grand Jury convened in January and issued indictments against several individuals.
The charges vary from serious felonies to misdemeanors, encompassing a range of criminal activities.
Among the indicted individuals, Josh Baley, 22, from Crown City, Ohio, faces a slew of charges including counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor Person and Illegal Use of a Minor Person in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance.
Christofer J. Shears, 36, of Gallipolis, Ohio, is charged with Abduction, Kidnapping, and Endangering Children, while Jonathan C. Elkins, 40, faces a charge of Domestic Violence.
Other indictments include Amanda M. Whitt, 30, of Wellston, Ohio, accused of Telecommunications Fraud; Joshua P. Cremeans, 42, of Gallipolis, Ohio, charged with Theft; Denver R. Adkins, 46, of Oak Hill, Ohio, facing Breaking and Entering and drug-related charges; Cassandra A. Harrison, 43, also of Oak Hill, Ohio, facing similar charges; Jacob Sarver, 19, of Gallipolis, Ohio, charged with Vandalism; and Jeremiah D. Smith, 35, of Vinton, Ohio, indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
The cases against the indicted individuals are set to proceed in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
