CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — In recognition of their swift and actions during a recent shooting incident in Chillicothe, Officers Caleb Sizemore and Wes Kight were awarded the prestigious Silver Star by Chillicothe Chief of Police Ron Meyers.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department, on the day of the incident, Officers Sizemore and Kight demonstrated remarkable bravery and selflessness. Despite the active crime scene, they rushed to the aid of a victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Their quick thinking, the department said, and decisive medical intervention undoubtedly saved the victim’s life.
Chief Ron Meyers commended Officers Sizemore and Kight for their unwavering commitment to duty and their ability to perform admirably under pressure.
